BIO

Matthew is a Senior in Quincy House concentrating in Applied Math with a focus in Psychology. Growing up in Deerfield, Illinois, he became interested in economics while in high school. Matthew's involvement outside of HUEA includes directing a committee for the Harvard Model United Nations high school conference, working as a tour guide of the campus, and serving as Chair of the Harvard Political Union. Two of Matthew's specific interests in economics are education markets and foreign direct investment, and he especially hopes to use the former interest to reduce cycles of poverty and the latter interest to bolster the economies of less economically developed countries.
