Who we are

The Harvard Undergraduate Economics Association is the home for students who love economics as a subject: its ideas, big questions, and myriad ways of explaining the world. Since 2003, HUEA has been run entirely by Harvard undergraduates, handed from one class to the next. What began as a campus club now reaches students worldwide: our essay contest (HIEEC) and quiz bowl (HPEC) draw hundreds of entrants from dozens of countries each year.

Our mission

As students, we help bridge Harvard’s econ concentrators and econ-curious to the Department of Economics and to one another, bringing together the economics community at Harvard and beyond.
