Bringing together the economics community at Harvard and beyond

HUEA bridges Harvard undergraduates to the Department of Economics, to young aspiring economists worldwide, and to one another, in a shared dedication to the subject.

What we do

  • Mentorship

Matching undergrads with graduate student mentors for econ and life guidance, with coffee on us.

  • The department

Getting close to faculty outside of class: research pointers, thesis circles, coffees, dinners.

  • Advising

Providing insider guidance on navigating courses and finding your footing in the concentration.

  • Competitions

Cultivating skills in high schoolers through a global essay contest (HIEEC) and quiz bowl (HPEC).
